functions.php not applying own fonts and grids.

I am using my own Google fonts and a custom grid by Dave Damache. The links do show in the <head> of the site but when I use the grid or style the <body> with a font. Nothing changes and stays as default.

The first time I followed Zac awesome tutorial, it worked perfectly however after replacing it with custom grids, styles and fonts, it doesn't seem to want to apply.

Think I may have solved this myself, some of the apache modules were turning themselves off... =.= and in turn affecting the install of wordpress on my local host.
