703 PointsHacking: Do you have to use the same language as program?
I was thinking about this the other day and got a quation. Say I wanted to hack into instagram and add the dislike button. Considering that instagram is buit on Python, would I have to use Python to hack into their system?

231,248 PointsAnytime you alter a program, you are using the language the program is written in. This doesn't mean that most hackers are competent developers with that language. Hackers commonly rely on shortcuts they learn from other hackers to accomplish some specific objective and have no understanding of the fundamentals of development in any language.
Most hacking compares to program development like paint-by-numbers compares to art.
