Courses Plus Student 19,602 PointsHave you tried the Views plugin from Toolset, I would appreciate your thoughts on it.
I need to develop a website with custom posts, fields and a number of other unique things and as much as i am learning code through Treehouse, i am not learning fast enough to have a website that's worth showing. So to avoid the CSS and PHP on WP i am considering purchasing Views, an additional plugin to Types(a custom post, advanced fields plugin).
Have you ever used it? What do you think of it? Is there a better/easier alternative out there?

Treehouse Guest TeacherI haven't used it, but it was designed for someone in your position. The only thing that I can think of is that it may get you 80-90% of the way there but you may find you still need some HTML/CSS/PHP skills to get everything as custom as you want. If you're able to make some compromises away from what you may have originally wanted and instead just work within the confines of the tools you're comfortable with then you may be okay. However, do give yourself some time with Views, it may have a bit of a learning curve to get up and comfortable with and it isn't a tool we have any resources at Treehouse to help with ;)

1,489 PointsI'm currently working on some project with complete toolset. It is absolutely fabulous to work with toolset plugin. But learning curve is quite steep without having good knowledge of CSS. Overall, toolset plugin is must have for wordpress developers.
