HTML HTML Basics Going Further with HTML Working on a Website Project Locally

Having issues with previewing web pages.

When I try to preview the web page I'm working on in workspaces the following page contents pops up:

Index of / Index.html articles/ img/

This also happens with I click on any of the links. Does anyone know why this is?

Hi there! It sounds like you may have accidentally named your index file incorrectly. In Windows, the capitalization of files doesn't matter very much, but this is not true of Linux based operating systems. Most web servers are run on a Linux/Unix based operating system. Check to make sure that your file is named index.html and not Index.html. When learning to program, it's always a good idea to assume everything is case-sensitive.

Hi Bridget,

Reason for the error code can be file name be differ from actual which you command in work-space. If it is a image view you want to get from subject link see whether it has being mapped to correct destination in folder. let me know what happens.
