WordPress and its plugins are built using PHP as the server-side language.

ALSO CAN U HELP ME WITH THIS?

Write an empty function named custom_action(). Then hook your function to the "customize_register" action.

MY CODE:

custom_action('customize_register', 'custom_action');

<?php function custom_action( ) { } add_action('customize_register', 'custom_action'); ?>

Got stuck on this challenge too. This is actually the correct syntax

Line 2 function custom_action( ) { } Line 3 add_action('customize_register', 'custom_action');

The question mark near 'custom_action'); was the issue. It shouldn't be 'custom_action'); ? It should just be 'custom_action');
