Hey, I just figured your out. Just change alt="sam" to alt="Sam" You just need to capitalize s on sam and it worked on me

So I think this is a simple one! It looks like the quiz is very specific about what the alt="" attribute should be. You have lower-cased "sam" and it should be upper-cased as "Sam"

Give this html a try:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>All About Joy's Page</title>
    <link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans' rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
    <link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet">
  </head>
  <body>
    <img src="sam.jpg" alt="Sam">

    <h1>stone</h1>

    <h2>soccer player</h2>

    <h3>oak park</h3>

    <h4>What I do:</h4>
       <p>i eat</p>

    <h4>What I enjoy doing:</h4>
      <p>play foosball</p>

  </body>
</html>
