Hi there! Your code does produce the same result as the correct solution will. But it also does something else. It changes the original value of $fullName. The value stored now in $fullName is "Rasmus Lerdorf was the original creator of PHP". But the value should still be "Rasmus Lerdorf".

You're really close though and have the right idea on your final line. You should echo out "$fullname" and then the concatenation of " was the original creator of PHP\n".
