Hosting - Linux or Windows?

Hi guys! I just wanted to get your two cents on which is "best" to go for for hosting? Does one have particular advantages over the other? does it depend on the type/scale of the project(s)?

Any help would be appreciated!

Cost and efficiency will put you on linux unless you need to take advantage of windows only things like ASP.

The vast majority of the hosting world uses Linux.

As Alexander said the only real reason to use Windows for a Web Server is if you are using ASP (or a similar technology).
