How do I remove 'this is the page.php file' from the top of my WP site?

Hi all, this may sound like a slightly naive question, but I have got myself into a spot of bother. I have just completed the super Allison Grayce site, from 'how to build a wordpress theme,' and I would like to include it in my portfolio. But the question is this - I was advised by a previous Treehouse moderator to put comments such as 'this is the page.php file' 'this is the work.php file' on top of every page, so I could see which pages were using which files. But now its on, I just cannot seem to get it off. I have tried going into Appearance -> Editor, and removing it from the php templates, but it just seems to remain there when I press refresh. Anyone have any tips on this slightly futile problem?? My site is at http://allisongrayce.young1.org. Thanks, Robert. London, UK.

Somewhere in your template, you have that hard coded in. Just simply remove the code. Are you trying to do this from WP's editor?

Thanks - actually the main problem was that I was not emptying the cache after making the changes in the editor. I shall be sure to do this next time....
