How does one become Wordpress Certified or SSL Certified?

Is there such a thing as Wordpress Certification or SSL Certification? If so, how does one become certified?

I have asked a related question to what you are asking, but in my case I was asking about being certified for programming languages. I think if you are looking to get certified to get a job the best way to do it is by creating themes and sites and put that in your portfolio rather than a certificate to show that you are knowledgeable with wordpress.

No, I am not trying to be certified for employment, there is a level of technical abilities that comes with being certified in Wordpress that is not taught in treehouse. I looked it up and now I want to be certified in it. Just like Microsoft, they certify you when you purchase the Microsoft books and take their test, Wordpress is similar, and I am looking to see if anyone knows or if treehouse would offer a course on being certified. I appreciate the answer Qasim, I am building site both in and out of wordpress just to familiarize myself with the technical language with and without plugins.

I wouldn't trust it, as it seems really sketchy and it's not a certificate that is known or lets say authorized by Worpress or recognized by them.

it looked good but I have that same feeling. Haven't really found someone who is actually certified as a free lancer. I have spoken to others who are certified but they got their certification through the company they work in. That is why I am asking around before I commit to something that might/might not be a scam
