tags, and they should both be inside a shared ol
element parent.

But, the ol tag is used to start a new unordered list, rather than to designate items in that list. You should start a new ol tag and then use the li tag on each list item, just like you did in your first ordered list. Like this:

<li>Shapes
<ol>
<li>Square</li>
<li>Circle</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li>Colors</li>
</ul>
