25,493 PointsYou need to use the open() function. Here is an example:
To open a file called test.txt and save to to a variable you would do this:
with open('test.txt', 'r') as f:
contents = f.read()
Now you can access it by referencing the variable "contents". If your file is somewhere else, you’ll have to use an absolute path like this: "/Users/You/Desktop/something.txt" instead of just the file name.
