How to integrate Tumblr with WordPress site

So a new client of mine basically wants this:

A WordPress site that has an online store but that functions as their Tumblr account....

Should or DO I edit their Tumblr account to the way they want it and then create a separate site with WordPress for the store?

If that's what they want. You can use their tumblr as the primary site and add the shop as a WordPress install in a subdomain.

So their current site is the Tumblr account. Their current domain points to their Tumblr account. I wanted to offer them a year of free hosting using my hosting account. So how can I develop the store page using my hosting account but using their domain name that is pointed at Tumblr?
