Python Introducing Lists Using Lists Continental

How to print by letter

I don't have any idea what to do even after rechecking with indexing video.

continents.py
continents = [
    'Asia',
    'South America',
    'North America',
    'Africa',
    'Europe',
    'Antarctica',
    'Australia',
]
print("Continents: ")
for continent in continents:
    print("* " + continent)
continents[len(continents) 0, 3, 5, 6]

Some hints:

  • you could use an "if" statement to control when the "print" will run
  • the "if" could test the first letter of the current name to see if it is equal to "A"
  • you cat isolate the first letter of a string with indexing (brackets [])
  • the index of the first item is always 0 (zero)
