Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree Student 9,611 PointsI am stuck in Challenge Task 3
Hello everyone, as I tried to work the challenge task 3 for the html() and text(), I am stuck there. I tried to make a variable to pass the variable as the argument into $(".profile-header").html() but the result says it does not work. I do not know how to fix the problem and could anyone please point out my mistake? Thank you! Help would be appreciated.
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<title>Document</title>
</head>
<body>
<h1 class="profile-header"></h1>
<p class="profile-text"></p>
<script
src="jquery-3.2.1.min.js"></script>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>
$(".profile-text").text("I am a web developer");
const message = "Student<span>Profile</span>";
$(".profile-header").html(message);

255 PointsIt seems like the code challenge is not liking your variable declaration. Try passing the html directly to the html()
method instead of via variable. Also, make sure your html is EXACTLY like the challenge shows it should be.
