What other way can I determine if the string is less than a certain number of characters?
def suggest(product_idea):
return product_idea + "inator"
if len(product_idea) < 3:
raise ValueError("Too Short! ")

Treehouse Moderator 91,253 PointsYou just need to ensure that the return statement is the last line in your function. Right now your function isn't returning anything.
def suggest(product_idea):
if len(product_idea) < 3:
raise ValueError("Too Short! ")
return product_idea + "inator"
Make sure as well you indent the part where you're raising the error by 4 spaces and then you should be good to go!.
