I did't understand this statement : the "freshest" result isn't always the best ?

True or False: Freshness is a variable considered in search algorithms, but the "freshest" result isn't always the best .

One of questions quiz ,but i didn't get that why not the freshest results isn't always the best

?

"Freshest" in this case is referring to newest piece of published content. Just because someone publish someone after someone else, doesn't automatically make it higher quality than the person who posted a piece of content before them. Imagine if someone wrote an amazing step-by-step, 10 000 word tutorial, and I just wrote up some piece of trash and published it after, and Google ranked me above that tutorial just because my result was "fresher", that doesn't seem like a good way to do things, right?
