I do not understand the question. The question is : "Create a new variable name $isIdentical. Compare the variable $a as identical (equal AND of the same type) as the string "5" and assign the results to $isIdentical."

$x = ($varToCompare [comparison operator] "5")
p.s. they said the string of 5, not number 5.

and the preview says that it is right but the correction said that it is false.

I would look up comparison operators: https://www.w3schools.com/php/php_operators.asp . From there assign the values you are comparing to the value of $isIdentical.
