13,253 PointsI think you mean 4th part of the challenge which is "Create a new rule that targets the span element inside .intro. Give the span element a bold font weight and an italic font style".
Here, you need to select only "span" element inside your "intro" class, so it should be like this:
.intro span {
font-weight: bold;
font-style: italic;
}

231,248 PointsIt looks like you're on task 4.
Task 4 is "Create a new rule that targets the span element inside .intro. Give the span element a bold font weight and an italic font style."
When you target a element inside another element you use a descendant selector. This is just the selector for the outer element and one for the inner element separated by a space.
I'm guessing you can handle setting the properties once you get your selector.
