Hey Gabriel! I strongly recommend that you rewatch the video, as links is a very important thing to understand in html. Inside an <a> tag we define a path to a link, this is done using the href="". In the text description you have been specified the path to the links. Your code should look like this:

  <ul>
    <li><a href="cakes.html">Cakes</a></li>
    <li><a href="pies.html">Pies</a></li>
    <li><a href="candy.html">Candy</a></li>>
  </ul>

Thanks man i rewatched the video and i completely understand that nothing can be in the inside of the <a> and </a> except for the link and the name of the link
