I dont know how to solve this

You could also solve this with template literals:

const msg = `${firstName} ${lastName}: ${role}`;

Hi Wendall, you are really close on this one, you just need to add a space in quotes, and then a colon with a space in quotes as well. Here is my solution which passed:

let firstName = 'Wendell';
let lastName = 'Hair';
let role = 'developer';

const msg = firstName + ' ' + lastName + ': ' + role;
