I don't see the Easy Foundation Shortcode plugin's buttons when editing a page. How do you get them to show up?

I went through the steps to install and activate the plugin twice (in case I just messed up the first time) but each time when I go to the About page to edit it, I don't see the buttons for the plugin. Is there another setting I should change to get the plugin buttons to show up?

I'm having this same problem. I have the theme activated but none of the buttons show up in the editing window.

I noticed that in the description of the plugin it warns that it has not been tested with the current version of Wordpress.

I don't know if the tutorial is now out of date or if something else is wrong.

(The plugin is Wordpress 3.9 ready. I am running Wordpress 4.5.2)

Hi Mary-Kate Carr ,

In this case after installing a plugin you have to mainly activate it in plugins menus.

Hope it helps!

Be sure to click "Toggle Toolbar".

It's at the end of the same line as the dropdown menu that says "Paragraph", with the bold, italic, etc. options.

BTW Easy Foundation Shortcode plugin hasn't been updated in 3 years and is untested with current version 4.9.8.

I had the same problem, however the solution I found was to install the classic editor plugin, The classic editor provides the toolbar toggle feature, once you have this then install/activate the Easy Foundation Shortcodes plugin,
