I have some Squarespace questions (sad but true). Has anyone worked with customizing it? It's my 1st web des job.

I'm supposed to "fix" a lot of issues and maintain a site on squarespace. It's my first ever web design(ish) job- i just got it a few days ago. Help! I have been asked to fix a few simple things, but the program is so restrictive I can't seem to figure it out... it's taking me forever and i have to meet up with the client asap.

I have, but that was a few versions ago, so I'm sure much has changed.

They tout themselves as being developer-friendly, but it's a closed-source system, so there's only going to be so much that you can do without completely overriding all of the template styles.

Can you share a link or screenshots and be more specific about what kind of help you need? Otherwise, Squarespace support is quite good, they might even be able to point you in the right direction.
