when I finish task 2 it says task 1 no longer passing

Both start tags and end tags should be enclosed in angles ("<>
"), but your start tags don't have the final angle on them (">
"). Also, the href strings seem to be missing the ending quote mark (").
Also, anything inside a list (ul
or ol
) must be inside a list item (li
). You must have had those to pass task 1, right? So don't remove them, just put the links inside them.
And it also looks like you removed the item names, which should now be between the start and end link (a
) tags.
Finally, check your href strings. These links point to local files, not websites.
