I hope this help you guys. This is for xampp and cmd. Took me like this whole week to figure this out.

Does anyone know how to redirect the host file like .htaccess for windows?

basically

http://localhost/site/public/ -> http://localhost

So I just want it to point to localhost? does it have to do with .htaccess? I'm terrible at it. lols.
