I need help to solve this challenge

what goes in the if statement pls

You've got part of it — now you need to compare the user's "index" with the current loop index to see if they match.

I cant get it right this is what I have if (index==law)

The "law" variable holds a reference to a list item element. But "index" is just an integer value.

What you want to compare "index" to is the integer value that was used to obtain "law".
