I think I messed up my website/cpanel

I am doing wordpress development, I tried making a backup of my website through cpanel to my homedirectory and FTP client and now my website is down and I can no longer see my website or login to cpanel. What should I do?

You should definitely contact your webhost. They can restore your CPanel at least. After that you can work on resotring your website.
