which compiler should I download and from which site, or should i download JDK

Hi there,

You can try IntelliJ IDEA but I think you'll need the JDK anyway.

Download the Java JDK from this site: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html I recommend using IntelliJ for Java Development :) Have fun coding!
