How could I write the If and Else function together under the feedback method? Am I anywhere near right and missing something minor or am I completely wrong?
class Student:
name = "Your Name"
def praise(self):
return "You inspire me, {}".format(self.name)
def reassurance(self):
return "Chin up, {}. You'll get it next time!".format(self.name)
def feedback(self):
if > 50:
return praise
else:
return reassurance

- in addition to
self
, the methodfeedback
needs agrade
parameter:(self, grade)
- the
if
condition needs to use thegrade
parameter:if grade > 50:
- the references to the other methods need a
self.
prefix, as in,self.praise
- to execute a method include parens after the name, as in,
self.praise()
. Otherwise, without the parens you are returning a pointer to the function and not actually executing the function.
Post back if you need more help. Good luck!!!
