i'm trying to link items in my <li >list for the front of my webpage under my portfolio, about ,and contact page. i am wondering it it should be nested and if so how is it done?

Firstly make sure that you have created the .html files for you links, I think this is the code you're looking for. <nav> <ul> <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li> <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li> <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li> </ul> </nav>

10,554 PointsIf you want link to different area of same page then you can use ids to link. Give that area a id in div or something then in li just enter url #idname. in anchor tag
