17,475 PointsI haven't seen that course yet but from my SEO experience there's much more importance in Incoming Links to your webpage. But
Beside a navigation (which is absolutely crucial) smart internal links are very important. Smart means: positioned where they are expected. What I do: Read the content you wrote and wherever there is a question about something in the content that pops out - add link that answers it. Don't forget the alt tag!
