I'm confused

It says im not setting the area property correctly, I've tried this.area and const area but none worked for me

Circle.js
class Circle {
    set radius(radius) {
      const area = Math.pow(3.14 * radius, 2)
      const circumference = Math.pow(2 * 3.14 * radius) ;
     radius = Math.pow(this.area, this.circumference) ;
     this._radius = radius
    }

}

const circ = new Circle();

You're close, but there's a few issues:

  • using "this" is correct, but you need to do the same thing with area and circumference
  • check your area formula, it should be PI times (R squared) (not (Pi times R) squared)
  • check your circumference formula, you won't need to use "pow" in it
  • you don't need to calculate radius, it's passed in as the argument
