im just hitting a brickwall on this one. .social-links { border: red } how off am i

what am i doing wrong here

You have a spelling error where you have "socail" instead of "social" in the selector of the CSS rule. And there needs to be a colon between the property and value being set.

.social-links{ color: 5px solid red; } you din't have to write any styles yet but if you want to : 5px solid red; there must be space between them

In the CSS file, it looks like you misspelled social-links and you forgot the colon and semi-colon.

.social-links {
border: red 5px;

FYI: Semicolons are optional after the last setting (but a "best practice").
