- a variable should be declared before (or when) it is assigned
- a variable should only be declared one time, but can be assigned any number of times
- a variable should be declared in the outermost scope in which it is used

4,542 PointsLook at this line " input = Console.ReadLine(); ", you didn't declare the variable "input" appropriately. You need to tell the compiler what data type "input" should be? Look at the variable declaration for "output" as an example.
