I'm not certain what the src for the images is, or exactly how to type it into the code.

the images of spain challenge part, and I am not sure what the src means or how to type it into the code to make it show up.

the SRC is how a HTML points to another web site or location to find the file or image your looking to add the HTML.

alt = attribute specifies an alternate text for an image, if the image cannot be displayed.

 <img src="images/spain.jpg" alt="spain photo">

Hi there! in HTML the alt="text description of img" is for alternate text. This is used in the case of a screen reader, or when the page is not able to load the image, say on a mobile device with images disabled for bandwith. For this you want to add the src="" attribute directly on the img. You can have many attributes on an element!

   <img src="images/spain.jpg" alt="a beautiful image of spain"/>
