231,271 PointsIt looks like you put a copy of the HTML code in the shout.js file. But that file should only contain JavaScript code (no HTML). And it will remain empty until you get to step 2.
But for task 1, the src attribute must go inside the starting script
tag, and it must be set to the name of the file to be loaded, like this:
<script src="shout.js"></script>
