In Challenge 1, I'm getting an error 'The hexRegEx variable does not hold a regular expression'.

Question

The function is isValidHex. Any help is appreciated.

Your RegEx variable's value is correct. Rename RegEx to hexRegEx (remove the old hexRegEx altogether) and Challenge 1 should pass.

Challenge 2 requires the use of test().
