In html file you have to add two classes and one id.

    <header class="main-header">
      ...
      <h1 class="main-heading">Lake Tahoe, California</h1>
    ...
    <div id="main-content">
      <h2>Check out all the Wildlife</h2>
      ....

In css file you need to specify the style to use with those classes and id that you define in html file. To refer to id you use the # symbol instead of dot symbol used to refer to classes.

.main-header{
  background-color:orange;
}

.main-heading{
  font-size:72px;
}
#main-content{
  background-color:lightsteelblue;
}
