In the end of this video. <img> is an inline element Why we can set it with the margin-bottom property?

I'm confused since in the couple of previous videos, instructor said the margin-top/bottom is not applied to the inline element which is in our case- the <img>.

The top and bottom margins have no effect on non-replaced inline elements, such as <span> or <code>.

But <img> is an example of a replaced element, so that rule does not apply.
