Hi Abdi!

Your code is almost perfect! The only problem is the selector you are using.

# is the ID Selector.

. is the Class Selector

Good luck!

-Luke

ohhh got it now thank you

main-header {

background-color: orange; }

ANSWER (In the style sheet, target main-header with a class selector. Then, add a background-color property and set the value to orange.)

.main-header { background-color: orange; }

header, main-header { background-color: orange; }

I have done exactly what you all said and it just keeps saying bummer make sure you are setting 'background-color' to 'orange'

I literally did

.main-header { background-color: orange; }

do you think its a glitch?

Thanks!

Hannah can you post a screen shot so I can take a look at it. You may also reach out to someone on your slack group.
