Issues with 15.0.2 when drag-dropping files

Hey guys,

It looks like some of us using this version on Mac are experiencing IDE freezes. This post recommends to use EAP 15

https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-146691

I'll try and let you guys know.

Cheers, Luis

Well, the EPA release fixes the bug, but I'll only be able to use for thirty days. I hope IntelliJ releases this version soon

Hi Luis,

Where did you find the Community version of EAP 15 you're talking about? And do you install that to what Craig already asked us to install?

Hi Luis,

I had the exact same issue and found an easy workaround.

If you right click on the project file tree in IntelliJ and select "Reveal in Finder" it brings up a new window that you can freely drag and drop into without any freezes.

When you're done just go back into IntelliJ, right click on the file structure again and select "Synchronize 'Karaoke'" to get the updated view.

Hope this helps!

Hi Jonas,

I eventually managed to download the Community version of EAP 15 and the issue is gone. In case you're interested in upgrading.

Cheers, Luis
