Python Python Basics Functions and Looping Raise an Exception

I've made a function that creates brand new product names using "artificial intelligence".

please help, my code is not running. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

suggestinator.py
def suggest(product_idea):
    return product_idea + "inator"

product_idea = input( "please enter your suggestion: ")
print(suggest(product_idea))
if len(product_idea) <= 3:
    raise ValueError(" your suggestion is too short ")

1 Answer

Place this line:

if len(product_idea) <= 3:
    raise ValueError(" your suggestion is too short ")

inside the function before the return statement, and remove any extra code you've typed.

Thank you, Joseph, I have tried it but it did not work.

never mind it works thank you so much:)
