Logo not showing, why?

This is my code

                  <a href="<?php bloginfo(); ?>">
                    <div class="logo-container">
                       <img class="logo-img pull-left" src="/wp-content/themes/sidkitheme/img/sidkilogoblue.png" >
                       <a class="navbar-brand brand-name-img" href="#"><img src="/wp-content/themes/sidkitheme/img/sidiki-sidiki.png"></a>
                    </div><!-- /logo-container -->
                  </a>

And this is the site

And if you look, the other image, the title, is displaying as well as if i put it htere it will display.

It works on my local version, but on the live version it somewhat doesn't work.

WHy?

Yes I can see the sidki logo working but when I inspect the element of the square logo it says "could not load the image" Please check that you uploaded the image properly or try to add it again.

You want the honest answer =)? They look nice, of course you need to finish them. But I would suggest improving your skills before offering yourself to clients. Its not just taking a wordpress theme and adding a few css classes.

Working with a client is a huge headache and responsibility. Try building 2-3 websites from scratch using boilerplate or foundation framework before moving to wordpress. Learn more and improve.

Keep the good work!

I did them all by my self from scratch.

I coded the whole layout, with bootstrap, and then i did use the skill that iv learned here at treehouse Bootstrap From Wordpress and expanded it a little bit with articles and now im just building few sites, as well as the next site i want to build is a restaurant, as thats seem the most complex site i could think of i believe?

Is that what you ment? Before my portfolio i did like 4 other prototypes where i learned all to make it, and then make another with ease.

Im mainly focusing on improving my naming conventions and structure of HTML, i think i improved a hell lot form last time , and WP as well as jQuery. Now I want to do a restaurant site because i think this will cover all the skill involved WP and jQuery to add lots of functionality and for it to be ease to edit stuff etc.

I can do few stuff with jQuery, but not enough. I know the JS basics etc.. I just never really did anything with it since im more interested in back-end, but, the more i know, the more i wanna get into JS deeper, so here I am trying jQuery a bit more : p

I dont see what you trying to show me on your personal website

Delete the file from wordpress panel then try to upload it maybe with a slight different name. The wordpress upload sometimes bugs the hell out of me. If you still having problems I can try to help you using TeamViewer or something..

You need to specify the full url for the image. /wp-content/themes/sidkitheme/img/sidkilogoblue.png cant find your photo

It does find it on my local server. Also, it does work on the second image.

What do you mean? I see it as i did specify the full url image for the theme. I mean the other one is working, this is the same but it doesn't.

Sorry but im confused now : p

I can't get this to work:

<div class="logo-container"><a href="Sidki &amp; Sidki">
                       <img class="logo-img pull-left" src="/wp-content/themes/sidkitheme/img/sidkilogoblue.png">
                       </a><a class="navbar-brand brand-name-img" href="#"><img src="/wp-content/themes/sidkitheme/img/sidiki-sidiki.png"></a>
                    </div>

But as you see, the sidki-sidki.png , the logo is working.

Great) Most complex site will be a store I think.

But try improving the existing ones. Like they teach here - the 4 P's =)

Oh, yes, a store, e-commerce site, i think too. I was thinking in the area of inputting and displaying info like a blog. The store requires even more knowledge, while restaurnat or blog, don't. A restaurant is more complex athan a simple blog if you know what I mean.

What do you mean by 'Like they teach here - the 4 P's =)' ?

And yes, im trying to improve it, and finish them off, espeically the Sidki one, so im pushing as much as i can now.

And the sidki one, i actually proposed to a guy i can make him a site like 5months ago, so here it is : p we had a meeting of like 10hours. Before ths i did make another one, but it wasn't modern, since i kind of copied the whole style from one site, but then as i got better, i undertood more of the design stuff, so here it is a more modern looking site etc..

I want to get a normal job as a WP developer and my goal is like in a month, but i don't know how realistic is that, since I need to get better foundation in WP and jQuery still. But now im also trying to do or im atualy going to do , a site for a martial arts club where i go, to get something in portfolio as well as to get my hand more dirty, even if they wont accept it, i still did something and learned. Since im looking at the skill i gain and experience, than money in this case, as im just trying to get off my seat, and stand on feet and get into the 'business' world. Even if the odds are against me.

and btw, do you want to join a slack group where we collaborate, help etc.. ? (if yes, then id need your email example[at]yahoo[dot]com - so the bots can't cat your email if you write it the normal way)

The 4 P's are - plan prepare perform perfect. Its very helpful and truth - 3/4 of the time goes to planning and only 1/4 to programming. There is much more aspects in WP rather than designing: Optimizing speed site, security, dealing with errors, user managing, plugins... I spent 2 years on that. Also PHP is the main language regarding WP so you should improve that. DB and SQL is also needed.

What kind of group you are talking about?

Was at college so i have time to reply now.

Thats nice, i will look at that too. I did actually look at my code in the wrong parts, and i though if i had planned the whole site i could'v have a perfect HTML coding. And the design well, not as that interested in it, but since i want to freelance too, id need to grasp some color theory and design basics so i don't end up with some 2000s site ( like a lot of people do).

I know the basics of PHP, tahts how i started and then went to WP. Now in my free time, im learning a bit more about PHP that someone from the slack group gave me as i asked for, since there are few people that are learning PHP and i can learn off ther code easily with time. And I don't know 100% about SQL, but i know the basics, such as making a registration and probably pulling the data off and that kind of stuff. Maybe im not sure to merge the tables with SQL and whatever ther is more advanced, if thats advanced in the first place. I just want to get good enough with WP so i can get a job, because then i can expand my self and support with money easily, and then go into Ruby on Rails and sit on making socila like features as thats my main goal, i actually stepped up on WP by somehwat mistake as i didn't reallly want to do it but now its okay.

Im talking about a group where there are many people with different skills, if thats iOS, Andorid, designers, web developers, beginner, experienced etc.. and we are making colllaboration with projects, and helping each other out, like in treehouse comunity but its better lol well there arent 100k people, but we got about 60 with around 10 online but then more of them can be online when im sleeping as with some folks i can get only 8hours since when i go sleep they might go sleep when i wake up. lol If you want to. Mainly its to collaborate and learn more. To get better at it, and or like its done in real life, such as in a job, and im reffering job as a skill set.
