1,693 Pointsmul and rmul Methods in Class - Why doesn't it follow the same structure as addition?
I've written the code following the same structure as for addition. This seems to return an error. Could anyone explain why?

self.value = str(value)
def __str__(self):
return self.value
def __int__(self):
return int(self.value)
def __float__(self):
return float(self.value)
def __add__(self, other):
if '.' in self.value:
return float(self) + other
return int(self) + other
def __radd__(self, other):
return self + other
def __iadd__(self, other):
self.value = self + other
return self.value
def __add__(self, other):
if '.' in self.value:
return float(self) * other
return int(self) * other
def __radd__(self, other):
if '.' in self.value:
return float(self) * other
return int(self) * other

Treehouse Moderator 32,305 PointsOh… you didn't rename the new methods to __mul__ and __rmul__, so you're currently overriding the __add__ and __radd__ methods!
