406 PointsMySQL Error when trying to install WordPress
I tried to follow the directions in the WordPress training video - got a new domain, then went to install WordPress via Softaculous using the 1 step version. I left all the defaults in the installation form (expect I updated the admin name and password) and clicked install. When the install gets to about 2-3%, I get following error:
The following errors were found : ◾Could not make the query numbered : 30 MySQL Error No : 1064 MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '1, 1, now(), now(), 'WordPress is an award-winning web software, used by million' at line 1
I waited 24+ hours thinking it was because I had a created a new domain, but it's a been a couple of days now and it still won't work.
The only 2 items on the installation form that have to do with MySQL would be the Database Name (which I left with the default of wp105) and the Table Settings (which I left with the default wp_).
Any help would be appreciated! Cathy

5,550 PointsIt seems that it is a common issue with some of the one-click autoinstallers. I recommend you performing a manual install which is very quick anyway. Here some useful links: Installing WordPress Using cPanel How to Install Wordpress With cPanel
Also one of the best FTP Clients is ( FileZilla )
