HTML HTML Basics Images, Text and Links Understanding File Paths

Need help; can not move article.html file into newly created article folder.

Lesson: HTML Basics - Images, Texts and Links: "Understanding File Paths, Guil Hernandez."

The software won't let me move the article.html file into the newly created article folder. I have pressed ctrl S, logged out of Treehouse, signed back in and reopened the lesson. The problem doesn't change.

Does the software need to be reset at the server by administrators? Suggestions?

To facilitate an anlysis of your issue, make a snapshot of your workspace and post the link to it here.

Thanks for the reply. After a few attempts I deleted the folder. I recreated the article folder and succeeded. I may have initially created an article file NOT an article folder. I am good to go now.

Good deal. You could move your explanation to an answer and tag it "best answer" to mark the question as answered.

If you'd rather, you can also delete the question entirely (right-click on the little rectangle with 3 dots).

After forking the snapshot, I was able to move the file by dragging.

But if you can't for some reason, try using this command in the console:

treehouse:~/workspace$ mv -v article.html articles

Note that you won't see the results in the list pane until you manually "refresh".
