Need help with Raise and Exception Challenge Task

I am stuck on this challenge. I don't understand the description,

Task description: I've made a function that creates brand new product names using "artificial intelligence".

I have a problem though, people keep on adding product ideas that are too short. It makes the suggestions look bad.

Can you please raise a ValueError if the product_idea is less than 3 characters long? product_idea is a string. Thanks in advance!

suggestinator.py
def suggest(product_idea):
    if product_idea < 3:
        raise ValueError(product_idea)
    return product_idea + "inator"

The statement below is asking you evaluate the number of characters in a string - is that what is confusing you?

"Can you please raise a ValueError if the product_idea is less than 3 characters long? product_idea is a string. Thanks in advance!"

Thanks Dave StSomeWhere, yes this was a bit confusing. I figured this out the 'len' goes into Line 2 of the code, I got it to work.
