(Note: the teacher promptly adds a + at the end of this to correct it for the task at hand.)

Treehouse Guest TeacherThat's a good question and it actually took me a minute to figure out. The [-\w ]
didn't bring back two characters. It brought back one. But then the [^\t\n]
brought back a second because the next character isn't a tab or newline.
