Hi there! I think maybe you've gotten HTML and CSS a little jumbled together here. So I'm going to give an example and hopefully it will clarify what it's looking for.

Here is the HTML for a paragraph with the class "main-content". HTML example:

<p class="main-content">This is my main content</p>

Here is the CSS that targets the "main-content" class and sets a rule for the text color:

.main-content {
  color: blue;
}

We target HTML basic elements such as paragraphs, headings, sections etc by just using the tag name without the angle brackets. To target a class we begin with a period/full stop. To target an id we use the hashtag/pound sign.
