Parent font-size? How do I set the parent font-size value and then give the equivalent em font-size value?

I am confused on how to set parent sizes and their equivalent sizes.

Em unit is related to the parent font size, in this case, the parent of the paragraph intro is the div primary-content, since it does not have a font-size defined, the default font-size is 16px, now considering 1em = 16px, make the math and give it a font-size of 20px using ems

Since the parent font-size is 16px, which equals 1em, we then take the desired font-size of 20px, and divide 20px by 16px = 1.250em. Let's put that into our css file.

.intro {
  font-size: 1.250em;
}
